Once Donna got to know Holy Spirit better and pray along with Him, she branched out to prayers she found in Scripture. One that caught her attention was from Paul to the church in Philippi. Her heart drank in the depth of his words that spoke directly to her need. Feel free to take a sip yourself.

She knew love was the basis of her relationship with God and His Word showed her it’s an action word. But what was she supposed to do with that, practically speaking? Paul was asking Him for what seemed to be the necessary tools the Philippians needed to walk in victory. For the first time, she felt she might be able to pull the process together.

  • Knowledge and insight were the first tools to place in her Victory Tool Box.
  • Discernment would come next as a result, allowing her to take proper steps.
  • Being pure and blameless when she met Christ was a reachable goal.
  • His righteousness flowing through her was the way to praise and glorify Him.

All in all, it seemed like a productive path to pursue. She wrote the main words in her prayer journal—knowledge, insight, discernment, pure and blameless, righteousness, glory and praise. Then she targeted them as she prayed each day. There wasn’t an immediate change. However, in time, decisions became easier, her second-guessing habit weakened, and her inner self appeared more often.

Freedom in Christ can arrive in a monumental revelation, or sneak up on us in a quiet reflection. No matter where she meets us, the fragrance of her presence envelopes us and changes everything.

And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God. Philippians 1:9-11NIV

Are you ready to breathe in freedom’s delight?
Maybe it’s Time to be YOU!

I echo Paul’s prayer for all of us Wallflower Women.
with confidence in God’s providence,
