Zin ValleyI’m heading out on my journey to Israel in less than 48 hours. My bags are packed and waiting by the door.

One of the items left on my To Do List is to let my faithful readers know my weekly posting schedule will likely fall by the wayside.

Instead I’ll be working to share my experiences as much as possible here and over on Facebook.

I’ll be especially grateful if you would pray for me as I make my way across the ocean and the sea. Then you can add a few more for all the arrangements while I’m on the ground. I need God to make the right connections for me to accomplish the research on the biblical account of Na’omi. In addition I need him to take me to the various gatherings being planned by homeschool parents.

Whenever we head out on a trip we take the opportunity to remember that tomorrow isn’t promised. In a very real sense each day is a gift from the Lord and I am grateful even when I’m caught between the thrill and the panic over what lies ahead.

“But I trust in you, LordI say, ‘You are my God.’ My times are in your hands.” Psalm 31:15 NIV

May the Lord grant all of us the confidence and courage we need for each day He gives us.
